Quality Education for Today's Family
Founded in 1978 as a ministry of Tower Grove Baptist Church, the enrollment is nearly 300 students in grades K-12. It is located in the Shaw neighborhood in the City of St. Louis, by Tower Grove Park and the Missouri Botanical Gardens. We are approximately 10 minutes from downtown St. Louis or Clayton via Highway 40 or 44. We serve students from St. Louis, Jefferson, Franklin and St. Charles counties, City of St. Louis, and western Illinois. Tower Grove provides a challenging and comprehensive elementary, middle and high school program. A college preparatory program, TGCS develops competence in Bible, English, fine and practical arts, mathematics, physical education, health, science and social studies.

TO ALL OF THE TGCS FAMILY
As we approach the end of the Power Serve effort, we once again want to thank God for what He has done through each of you in your contributions to this serve in prayer, planning, and participation in the service projects and for inviting others to contribute financially. Then finally, thanks to you for sharing your own contributions.
The Business Sponsorship program brought in $3225 to date, the Serve-Athon invitations up to almost $15,000, and the spiritual benefits immeasurable.
Recorded participation of the student body, meaning those who sent out brochures or emails by turning them into the school for mailing and tracking, stands at around 27%. This translates to about 80 students out of 288 actually participating.
In order to meet the school's projected deficit, a goal of $50,000 was set. We are a little under $33,000 short.
With this in mind, we ask that you consider in your own heart whether or not you've done your best in contributing to the school's only fundraising effort for 2008-2009 in light of:
>If 250 student families shared $50.00, that would close the
gap by $12,500.
>If another 80 families participated in mailing brochures or
sending out the e-mail, and their efforts yielded the same
amount as the 80 families, that would close the gap by
$12,000.
You should have received a statement showing those who have responded to your child(ren)'s invitations to share with TGCS financially. If you have not received your personal statement, please email ataylor@tgcs.net and request your statement, and copy klbjdmb@prodigy.net .
IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SEND OUT BROCHURES or for you to place follow-up calls to those you've invited to contribute to the Power Serve. You may opt to send the email invitations, as well. See the www.tgcs.net website under Power Serve, then Mail-out Letter.
Please consider strongly the impact Tower Grove Christian School has had and will have on your child's life and their walk with Christ, as we strive to allow God to make fruitful ministry in growing God's kingdom. May it move you to invest in the future of the TGCS educational ministry.
